Inclusive Skills Competition

Chloe and Leah competed in the regional heats of the Inclusive Skills hairdressing competition at Official New College Durham today. They only had a few days to prepare, practice and perfect their hairstyles before competing along with other students in a pressurised arena.
We are very proud to say that they gained 2nd and 3rd place overall against other North East Colleges. Hopefully, this will be enough to go forward to compete in the national Natspec Inclusive Skills finals in Birmingham at the end of the year. 
Congratulations both to the hard-working students, and staff who supported in their journey. As you can see from the photo, they were justifiably pleased with themselves!
