Our students competed at the Tees Valley Sports Swimming Gala and Wheelchair Basketball tournament In June 2016. The KS3 students who were competing at the Swimming Gala were competing against other schools in the region. Two boys competed in the freestyle race with one of them achieving a bronze medal! The other student also competed in the backstroke event and managed to achieve a fantastic bronze medal too! Two girls swam in the freestyle and back stroke races with one of them achieving a bronze and silver medal and the other claiming 4th.
The other students competed in a wheelchair basketball competition with a mixed team made up of Catcote academy students and Dyke House students. Our students were a credit to the school!
