This morning, students from Link 2 successfully completed their walking challenge to help raise money for our Parents & Friends charity, which supports our school prom, football teams and lots of other activities.
The group walked an impressive 3.5 miles along Seaton Front and back, taking in the fresh sea air and enjoying each other’s company. Along the way, they stopped at the Almighty Cod chip shop for a well-earned lunch and met the lovely Dawn, who kindly donated £10 to our fundraising efforts.
The students also enjoyed a treat of ice cream and even managed to get a photo with Angus the monkey, who was taking part in the dementia walk with Hartlepool United.
All of our students did an outstanding job, and we are incredibly proud of their efforts and positive attitude throughout the day.
