National Museum of the Royal Navy

Classes 10 and 12 visited the National Museum of the Royal Navy Hartlepool at Hartlepool Historic Quay on Monday to discover what creative careers are out there. They attended workshops within the Heritage, Cultural, Archives, Museums and Galleries sector. They learned about the first ever Hartlepudlian named by staff as “Pete Seaton” – a 4700 year old skeleton found in Seaton Carew, as well as the town’s huge shipbuilding past and much more! The students asked questions and participated with enthusiasm and confidence. Well done everyone!
