KS3 Creative Arts students had an exciting visit from illustrator David Palmer, known for his captivating fantasy and fairy tale characters. David engaged our learners, sharing his creative career journey, illustrating the path that led him to become an emerging artist in the world of children’s literature and creating @palmerillustrations.

David spoke passionately about his experiences, from his early inspirations to the challenges he faced along the way. His creative journey resonated with the students, sparking their imaginations and encouraging them to embrace their own creative aspirations.
During the session, David demonstrated his unique illustration techniques, showcasing the mechanics behind his enchanting characters. He guided the students step-by-step, teaching them how to bring their own fairy tale visions to life through drawing. Learners experimented with Fine liners and pencils, inspired by David’s enchanting style.
