Students from Link 5 opened up their own pop up café as part of Work Related Learning in their catering and hospitality lessons.
Students invited staff and students along and they served some wonderful food – sausage rolls, cheese pasties and pizza!
Despite having a freezer issue over the weekend and all of the pre-prepared food having to be binned, they still went ahead and managed to carry on with ‘Mrs Greigs Bakery’. Staff were very pleased with students’ determination towards hygiene and service. This has really gave them an insight into the catering sector and they had lots of fun too.
