Students from our Blue pathway at Brierton Sixth Form College had the pleasure of visiting the new Training Centre on Ward 10 at Hartlepool hospital. The class were able to find out about the different job roles within the National Health Service.
The visit included students being shown around a bespoke ‘at home’ simulation suite, a four-bed training bay, ICT suite, trainee common room and several flexible training and class rooms. Students visite the linen room, sewing suits, post room, security, the mattress department and deliveries. It was a great experience, some students come away with new aspirations for their future.
