Students from the Red Pathway attended the Tees Valley Combined Authority and Altrad Celebration Event at Billingham Forum.
This fantastic event marked the end of an exciting week where students showcased their hard work during the STEAM Challenge. As part of the challenge, students were tasked with designing and building a structure made from recycled materials that could support a 1kg bag of sugar and move across the floor.
It was incredible to see the creativity and innovation on display across all classes. We’re thrilled to share that our students won four awards, including:
Outstanding Student – Archie from Class 12
Most imaginative presentation – S2, which included a moving solo performance of an original song.
Award for positivity – S2
Creative Skills Award – Link 2
We extend a heartfelt thank you to TVCA for organising such an inspiring week, and to Altrad for their continued sponsorship and support of the event.
A huge well done to our brilliant students for putting their Catcote Skills into practice – Communication, Aiming High, Teamwork, Creativity, Optimism, Taking the Lead, and Exploring Opportunities.
