We aim to ensure that Catcote Academy is a friendly and secure place, with a stimulating and rewarding environment. We want every student to make as much progress as possible. We aim to offer enriching experiences and a broad, balanced and personalised curriculum, using a range of strategies and approaches appropriate to individual needs and learning styles.
In some cases it may be necessary to charge for the following activities:
(a) Residential visits
(b) Activities wholly or mainly outside school hours (‘optional extras’)
(c) Individual tuition in the playing of a musical instrument.
(d) Re-sits for public examinations where no further preparation has been provided by the Academy
(e) Costs of non-prescribed examinations and preparations for such examinations outside Academy areas
(f) Any other education, transport or examination fee unless charges are specifically prohibited
(g) Deliberate damage to the school building or resources
We are committed to and passionate about the learning and progress of our pupils. Staff and governors have high aspirations for our children and we aim to provide a high quality, relevant and balanced education for all our students that focuses on individual, personal and academic achievement that will enhance the life opportunities for our young people as they move into the adult world.
