This week our STEPs students have completed some very formal Mock Interviews. They were given a job specification to read and apply for; C.V’s were created and updated and a set of key questions used to assess their interview.
We were very appreciative of the support from Middleton Grange Shopping Centre Manager Mark Rycraft, English Martyrs Head of Careers, Jo Fisher and Catcote’s Business Manager, Louise Robson.
The interviewers were unknown to the young people which offered a more realistic interview process taking the young people out of their comfort zone.
The students were really engaged and behaved in a very serious and professional manner. The feedback from the interviewers was fantastic!!
Well done to all and another shout out to the students for looking extremely smart!!
