Nissan Sunderland

Link classes have been taking part in visits to Nissan Sunderland over the past 2 weeks to take part in their plant tours. Students were shown around the site, visiting the press shop were tons of aluminum and steel coils are pressed into panels for the vehicles. They were shown the body shop and saw how the skilled workers assemble the panels. Along the tour they learned all about the variety of skills needed for each assembly point. Students enjoyed seeing how the vehicles began life to the end product on the final assembly line. We are all proud of our students and our tour guides said they were very impressed with their behaviour and questions.
