Yesterday, 6th Form S3 & S4 visited Hartlepool Power Station. Students found out about the various careers within the sector and some ways that workers are kept safe on site. They were very lucky to get a visit from a Police Officer from the Civil Nuclear Constabulary (CNC) which are a special division who only work on nuclear power station sites in the UK. Students had the opportunity to ask lots of questions.
