Students from across the trust have had the amazing opportunity to be involved in the creative and volunteer programme ahead of the Tall Ships event in July. They were given two challenges throughout the morning to develop their team building skills ready to participate in this exciting and inclusive public event. Our students gained experience working collaboratively, with the Tall Ships creative events committee, to look at the map history of Hartlepool and create boats from recycled materials, promoting sustainability ahead of Catcote Academy’s annual Trashion show in July. We would like to say a huge thank you to Jamie Kelly and the team for providing their time and expertise to support our students, developing such important skills, giving accessibility to new experiences within arts and culture around Hartlepool.
