Miss Ervine’s Y9 Enterprise group visited Hartlepool Community Fire Station. Students received a guided tour of the building, were allowed to sit in the fire engines, tried out the gym and even controlled the hose! Alongside this, students were encouraged to ask questions about careers within the Fire Brigade and the role of Fire Fighters within the local community. All students and staff would like to say a big thank you to the Fire Fighters that we met for a fantastic, informative afternoon.
