The Royal Garden Parties will be held on Wednesday 3 May and Tuesday 9 May 2023 and will be hosted by HRH King Charles.”
One of our teachers, Paul Sowerby, was honoured to be invited to The King’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
The invitation was ‘for services to education’ from the Department for Education which related to an Inclusion and Diversity Award received for a project his class did with Lindisfarne Care Home in Hartlepool.
The afternoon included full access to the historic gardens of the Palace and High Tea was served. The food was amazing and Paul got to shake hands and chat to Camilla, Queen Consort of the UK.
It was a wonderful experience, made even more special by the King’s Coronation preparations for this weekend.
