Some fantastic news this week and some a great example of an employer observing the skills our young people possess and demonstrate when at work. Lindisfarne Care Home have offered Courtney Garbutt a full-time position as activities co-ordinator following her Supported Internship with the STEPs Programme based in the Middleton Grange Shopping Centre. This fantastic work opportunity will consist of Courtney working 4 days a week from 9.30am till 4.30pm.
Lindisfarne have gone even further this year by offering other young adults following the STEPs programme a work placement in their kitchen, grounds maintenance and within their care sector for September 2022. An exciting time now and in the future.
Another big shout out to Courtney was working so hard to demonstrate her ability to work full time and to Lindisfarne for recognise her amazing skills!
