Jasper Maudsley a McDonalds Managing Director, has been working closely with Catcote for a number of years. This has developed further with a programme for this academic year with 6th form and STEPs students, which will offer quite intensive training, in specific areas of the fast-food environment. This programme will also increase the number of young people involved.
Jasper Maudsley has spent time with the young people sorting uniforms and discussing health and safety before they start their individual training behind the counter.
The young people will then work a 1:1 session weekly with a nominated McDonalds employee to learn how to safely use equipment and fill orders. This programme will continue throughout this academic year.
