Sixth Formers take part in Mock Interviews!
As part of National Careers Week, Students from Catcote Sixth Form took part in a ‘mock interview’to prepare them for the world of work. They had the opportunity to speak to employers from various sectors. Big thanks to North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust, J&B Recycling Ltd,Department for Work and Pensions – DWP, Northumbria University, Askham Bryan College, NYBEP and NCS – National Citizen Service for taking time out of your busy schedules to give our students an invaluable opportunity to showcase their skills and to learn about different job roles.
We have been blown away by the feedback from the employers such as
”I left the academy with the biggest smile on my face because I was so impressed with the young people’s interviews and how they conducted themselves throughout the day.”
“I was delighted to support the Mock Interview session today at Catcote 6th Form College. All the students had made so much effort to create the right first impression. They were all smart, polite and well-mannered and a credit to the college. All of the young people I interviewed had great employability potential”.
Well done to all of the students, we are very proud of you all.
