Catcote Students have designed their own remembrance tribute, the students have made a poppy blanket made from recycled plastic bottle bottoms. All classes collected the bottles and cut the bottoms off and painted them.
We are working hard to become an Eco School and are really pleased to inform you that we have already achieved our bronze award and are well on our way to achieve silver.
One of our chosen topics is the awareness of litter. Students have been given their own drinks bottle to save on the number of plastic bottles we throw away, these were kindly donated from Sainsbury’s .
As part of the litter topic, all students have helped to create a poppy blanket from their old plastic bottles.
They have enjoyed learning about Remembrance Day and have thoroughly enjoyed creating their art.
