On 18.09.19 Students from our Sixth Form College attended the annual North-East Skills Event today at Utilita Arena in Newcastle. The event was jam-packed full of interactive, inspiring and informative activities to inspire our students to realise their options and choices for the future.
They had the opportunity to have face-to-face discussions with Employers, Industry Experts, Colleges and Training Providers from across the region who were on hand to offer impartial advice and guidance.
They attended a wide variety of stands and enjoyed speaking to the different organisations who were exhibiting at the event.
Students really enjoyed the day and feedback from them has been very positive. They have a better understanding of what the future has to offer them. One student said, “it was amazing to see all the opportunities together, I was asking about apprenticeships and found out loads”.
We have made this an annual event for our students, to help give them the very best information and choice for their future.
